WINTECH Gig

The WINTECH gig combines the classic gig boat shape with the best materials and state-of-the-art boat construction.

The sturdy hull of our standard gig is multilayered. It consists of a fiberglass & Kevlar fabric with a SORIC® core. An ideal mix of materials to achieve an optimal ratio between weight and robustness.

The lighter gig version uses the sandwich construction made of carbon and Nomex® honeycomb, which has proven itself in racing boat construction. It corresponds to the INTERNATIONAL racing boat version

Since gigs have to meet different demands and challenges than e.g. racing boats, we use gel-coat for the outer skin. The tough gel coat effectively seals the hull against hydrolysis (= moisture), protects against UV radiation and is more resistant to pressure damage

Our gig is a real all-rounder, depending on the equipment

• It is suitable for hiking trips and daily trips to the club
• It is ideal for rowing training and in school lessons, especially inclusive, because Para seats are compatible and can be installed / removed in a few simple steps.
